Note : In the big picture, the Canadian dollar (USD/CAD) is expected to move within the range of 1.245 and 1.350. Its meaningful prices are 1.143, 1.201, 1.245, 1.283, 1.316, 1.366 and 1.398. In the medium term, the USD/CAD exchange rates are likely to go down to around 1.245 and the 1.245 level would be a very strong support. If the US dollar is very weak against other currencies, USD/CAD rates could fall to around 1.140.
